Tour Description

Hike Difficulty : Moderate Arrowhead Provincial Park is located just west of Algonquin Provincial Park and 10 km north of Huntsville. The park is great for summer activities like hiking, and also grooms 22 km of classic ski trails and 11 km of skate ski trails. There is no chalet in the park but it provides two heated shelters, the Mayflower and the Arrowhead shelters. Ski rentals and coffees are available at the Park Pro Shop. The scenery there is just unbelievably beautiful. Hike #1 Arrowhead Lake Campground Loop Explore this 4.7-km loop trail near Huntsville, Ontario. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 13 min to complete. This is a popular trail for cross-country skiing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Hike #2 Arrowhead Lake Explore this 2.6-km loop trail near Huntsville, Ontario. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 42 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
